The day in pictures
2010-04-24 Picture marathon and it's been a very calm and nice day here. No tournament. Just a day of workouts, training and a lot of chilling and a lot of coffe. I don't even drink coffe...
The daily locker room contest.
Nilsson is stepping in as Edfors caddie. They got a very good record but Nilsson is a player himself and he is as far from a normal caddie as they come. He has hit more and takes more practise swings than Edfors himself during this week. I had him as a caddie a few years ago. Once! He started laughing when I duffed a chip that happen to get pretty close to the pin..."embarrassing Alex" was his response. He is a great guy and really fun to have around.
He found his peace in the hotel.
Anything that might help.
9.35 tee time tomorrow. Playing with the guy I lost to in the singles of Royal Trophy in Bangkok earlier this year, Oda. No more loosing.

Break in the middle of a tourney!
2010-04-24 Goooooooood Morning!
Day off today from tournament play which feels so weird! It's like the tennis tour. The only difference is that they need it after running around on court. We might need it to relax our brains a little:)
Hitting the gym now with Edfors and Pierre. I've got a feeling Colin will sneak down and work out under the radar to later bust our asses when we invite him to a competition. Colin just did 50 push-ups in a row yesterday in the locker room to get warm before going out in the way-to-fresh-air-at-6-in-the-morning. That was impressive. Good form too. He does everything in good form. Everything from writing down the numbers in the yardage book to sip on his 10th espresso of the day...
So, a little gym session then some golf practise to stay in golf mode for tomorrow. If the cut falls to -1, we are 12 players from our side of the draw that will make the cut. The weather can play a big role...
View over the water from the hotel.
Colin tried out those steps earlier. Brutal. 200 steps. Good idea for a sunday workout.
Happy times!

10 000 meters
2010-04-23 36 holes today. Was very tired in the end. 3 or 4 club wind throughout the whole day and 70-72 were my scores. Felt descent in those conditions. Day of rest tomorrow becasue the rest of the field has to finish their second round and the tournament was shortened to a 54-holer.
One of my goals this year is to run 10 000 meters in under 40 minutes. I don't know where and why I came up with this figure but it felt motivating. Just had a look on the internet to find some videos of runners that would inspire me and give me some tutoring in how to achieve my goal.
BUT. Now I feel sick when watching these guys sprint (yeah, they do sprint) in on times around 27 minutes. I guess they have practised for a while:)
Bekele is looking strong in this video. Have a look at his last 200 meters. Insane...
Back soon!

What the....???
2010-04-22 Fog! F"#!%€g fog! Always the fog! I have never looked more forward to playing in my life! Not true at all but pretty close to it. The course is so nice and fun to play and golf is a sweet klinging word in my head right now. More so than ever!
But! FOOOOOG!
Anyway, we get to play 36 tomorrow maybe so it's all good! Have had a seriously tough time to fall asleep these two weeks in Asia so now I've got to get at least one good night of sleep before the mighty golf marathon day tomorrow!
Good Night!
