  Amazing days

  2010-08-04 Our week in Akron continues to amaze us. The golf course is as we've said, amazing but the Chapell Hill shopping mall (feels like all American malls are named that) we went to yesterday was even more amazing. Wow.

  Back on the course. We played 18 holes on monday hitting millions of balls to really get to know the course. 9 yesterday scoring and 18 holes scoring today. Feels like the perfect preparation plus the practice on the range and practice greens. I could spend the rest of my life on this golf course. No joke.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  I was wondering if the locker crew could change my spikes perhaps. "Yeah! Off course man, come on in here!" Eh, just a whole room where they change spikes, cleaned shoes and so on. Only in America...

  Akron

  2010-08-02 Just arrived at the Sheraton Suites (seems like they always put a "suites" at the end of every hotel name over here in America). Long travelling day and me and my caddie Pontus Eliasson is so stupidly tired right now. And it's only 8 PM. If we fall asleep now, we will wake up at 3 AM and throw things at each other to kill time. 
  
  Watched "24" on the way over and also saw some episodes of "Solsidan". How good is that TV show!!! Want more episodes...!!!

  Our car this week. Seriously nice but seriously worried how we are gonna get to the golf course in time. Pontus screwed up in the second turn today as a map reader...and I can't even read the thing.  
  
  Hoping for the best and I love beeing back in the States. Pontus is a little stranger to this country. Maybe Akron isn't the most exciting place (exept for the golf) but I'm a pro tour-guide of weird places in USA. I lived four years in a realy weird place, Stillwater, Oklahoma. Weird is most of the times a lot of fun!

  Hectic days and a lot of sleepy mornings here. Spent monday at Katrineholms GK with Robert Karlsson and two impressive junior golfers and had a little exhibition match.   Then a lot of practice and then I got boored and discovered a new shot. It's an update of the flop shot. Just decided to make it a little tougher and used the 5-iron...video up sooooooon.
